Hammer Down Road Report

**Road-Weather Update**

⚠️ **Southeastern Arizona:** Severe thunderstorms and flash flooding near Douglas, Bisbee-Douglas Airport and Pirtleville. Gusts up to **60 mph** and quarter-size hail are possible through **8:30 PM MST**; flash flooding remains a threat until **11 PM MST**. Avoid Route 80 (mile markers 321–400) and Route 191 (mile markers 1–34) where water may cover roads.

⚠️ **Virginia & North Carolina:** Heavy thunderstorms are causing flash flooding across southeastern Bland and northwestern Wythe counties, VA; Halifax County, VA; and Alleghany County, NC. **1–4 inches** of rain has fallen, with another **1–2 inches** possible in parts of southwest Virginia and northwest North Carolina. Flooding may affect highways, streets, underpasses and low-lying roads through early morning.

⚠️ **Central South Carolina:** Minor urban and small-stream flooding is expected near Camden, Kershaw, Heath Springs and Lake Wateree Dam. Up to **2 additional inches** of rain may fall through **12:45 AM EDT**. Use caution on **I-20 between mile markers 94 and 102**.

Never drive through flooded roads or around barricades—turn around, don’t drown. Slow down in heavy rain, watch for debris and ponding water, and avoid low-water crossings after dark.
