**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

⚠️ **Flash flooding is the main travel hazard tonight.** Never drive through water-covered roads—turn around and use an alternate route.

• **Arizona:** Flash flooding is affecting **I-19 between mile markers 34 and 49** near Sahuarita and Green Valley through **7:30 PM MST**. Flooding is also ongoing near Lees Ferry and Vermilion Cliffs along the Paria River. Highway 21 near the Vamori Wash bridge in central Pima County may see minor flooding through **7:45 PM MST**.

• **Kentucky and the central Appalachians:** Heavy thunderstorms have produced **1 to 3.25 inches of rain**, with up to another inch possible, causing flash flooding across parts of eastern and east-central Kentucky through late evening. Watch for flooded streets, underpasses, creeks, and low spots. Minor flooding is also possible along **US-62 and SR-875/SR-616/SR-19** in Bracken and Robertson counties. A broader Flood Watch covers northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, southwest Virginia, and much of West Virginia through Friday evening.

• **Texas:** Flash flooding is ongoing around **Fort Stockton, Seminole, Seagraves, and Imperial**, where 1 to 3 inches of rain has fallen. A severe storm near Fort Stockton is moving northeast at 20 mph, with **60 mph wind gusts and nickel-size hail** possible, including on **I-10 between mile markers 249 and 276**.

• **Utah:** Life-threatening flash flooding is possible near Ophir and Stockton in eastern Tooele County through **9:15 PM MDT**, especially around canyons, washes, and the old Jacob City Burn Scar.

• **Colorado and Kansas:** Severe storms may produce **60 mph winds** and large hail. In eastern Colorado near Wild Horse and Aroya, hail up to **2 inches** is possible. Central Kansas near Olmitz, Milberger, Galatia, and Susank could see quarter-size hail. Heavy rain may also flood low-lying roads near Cedar Point, Lindon, and Anton, Colorado.

• **Florida:** A severe storm moving east across the Jacksonville area may bring **60 mph wind gusts** through **9:30 PM EDT**, affecting Jacksonville, Arlington, Neptune Beach, and Ponte Vedra Beach. Ponding and minor urban flooding are possible in northwestern Duval and west-central Nassau counties.

• **Alaska:** Flooding continues near Mendenhall Lake and the Mendenhall River in Juneau. Parts of View Drive, Skaters Cabin Road, trails, and areas below Back Loop Bridge may be impacted; water is receding but flooding continues into late tonight.

• **Nevada and New Mexico:** Heavy rain may cause road flooding on **SR-447 near Nixon** and **US-50 south of Ely**. Low-water crossings may become impassable near San Lorenzo and Mimbres, New Mexico.
