**⚠️ Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

**NEBRASKA — Tornado Warning:** Near **Ord** in Greeley and Valley counties, a storm capable of a tornado and 2-inch hail is moving southeast at 20 mph through **9:15 PM CDT**. **Do not drive into the warned area—seek sturdy shelter immediately and check the NWS for the latest information.** Severe storms also threaten I-80 near North Platte, Highway 20, Highway 83 and Highway 97 with 60 mph winds and large hail.

**WEST VIRGINIA & EASTERN OHIO — Flooded roads:** Flash flooding and high water are affecting parts of **I-77 and I-79**, including near Charleston, Ripley, Ravenswood, Clarksburg and Bridgeport. Several roads are reported closed in eastern Ohio near Caldwell, Cumberland and Philo after 1–3 inches of rain. Never drive through water-covered roads; turn around, don’t drown.

**ALABAMA & SOUTH DAKOTA — Damaging storms:** Northern Birmingham, Trussville, Gardendale and nearby areas face 60 mph wind gusts through 9:30 PM CDT. Severe storms in South Dakota may bring 60–70 mph winds and hail near Spring Creek, Buffalo and Carthage. Slow down, avoid parking under trees, and seek shelter rather than trying to outrun storms.

**ARIZONA & NEW MEXICO — Flash-flood risk:** Heavy rain is producing flash flooding near **Redington, Arizona**, with rural Route 82 also at risk through 9:30 PM MST. Near **Nara Visa, New Mexico**, up to 2 inches of rain has fallen, with dangerous arroyo and low-water-crossing flooding possible through 10:30 PM MDT. Avoid washes and flooded crossings.

**ILLINOIS — River flooding:** Illinois River flooding continues near La Salle and Havana and is forecast near Beardstown. Use caution on low-lying roads near the river and follow any local detours or closures.
