🚧 **Nationwide Road-Weather Update — Flooding**
– **Louisiana:** A **Flash Flood Warning** continues for northern Morehouse Parish, including Bastrop and Mer Rouge, through **1 PM CDT**. Thunderstorms are producing heavy rain with flooding possible on highways, streets, underpasses, and low-lying areas. Flood advisories continue around **New Orleans, Metairie, Chalmette, and Jefferson** through **1:30 PM CDT**, with 1–2 inches of additional rain possible.
– **Iowa:** River flooding is affecting areas near **Des Moines, Colfax, Tama, Hudson, and Waterloo**. Flood impacts include **US-30**, **US-63**, Iowa 58, and nearby local roads. Some residential evacuations may be needed near Colfax and Hudson. Warnings continue from this evening through Tuesday morning, depending on location.
– **Illinois:** The Des Plaines River is flooding near **US-41 in Gurnee**. Minor flooding is occurring and the river is expected to crest later today.
– **Texas:** Flood advisories continue in parts of Cameron, Willacy, Houston, and Walker counties, including **Harlingen, La Feria, and Rio Hondo**. One to three inches of rain has fallen in the Rio Grande Valley, with more possible. Advisories expire between **11:45 AM and 1:30 PM CDT**.
