• **NYC & northeast New Jersey:** Flood watches remain in effect through this evening for New York City, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, and parts of Bergen, Essex, Passaic, Hudson, and Union counties. Heavy showers and embedded thunderstorms could produce **1–2 inches of rain per hour**, causing rapid urban, poor-drainage, and low-lying roadway flooding. Never drive through flooded roads—turn around.
• **Patrick County, Virginia:** Flash flooding is possible through this afternoon near the Ararat River, including Ararat, due to high rainfall and the precautionary potential for flooding below several dams. Avoid low-lying roads and watch for changing conditions.
• **Guam:** A Wind Advisory continues until **6 AM ChST Wednesday**. Westerly winds of **20–30 mph**, with gusts up to **40 mph**, may make driving difficult—especially for high-profile vehicles and when passing them.
• **Southeast Alaska waters:** Dense fog may reduce visibility to **1 nautical mile or less** through **7 AM AKDT Monday** around Cross Sound and from Cape Edgecumbe to Cape Fairweather. Navigation will be difficult.
