**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
**Arizona:** Severe storms are affecting southern and eastern parts of the state. On **I-19 near Nogales** and **Route 82**, expect 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail through 3:45 PM MST. Flash flooding is also possible near Elgin and Canelo, including **Route 83 between mile markers 10–23**, with 1–1.5 inches already reported and more rain possible through 5:45 PM MST. Hail threats also continue near Kinishba Ruins/Canyon Day along **SR-73**, Burke Mountain, and the Arivaca area.
**New Mexico:** Severe thunderstorms near Ruidoso Downs/Glencoe and Buckhorn/Brushy Mountain may produce 60 mph gusts and quarter-size hail through 4:30 PM MDT. In southwestern Catron County, including Glenwood, Pleasanton, Mogollon and Alma, heavy rain may flood arroyos, low-water crossings and roads through 6:30 PM MDT. Never drive through water-covered crossings.
**Virginia:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected across parts of Cumberland, Goochland and Powhatan counties, including Cartersville, Lakeside Village, Duncan, Whiteville and Tamworth. Another 1–2 inches of rain is possible after 2–3 inches have already fallen; flooding may affect roads, underpasses and low-lying areas through 8:45 PM EDT. Minor flooding is also possible in western Prince Edward County through 8:15 PM EDT.
**South Carolina:** Northern Marlboro County, including Bennettsville and McColl, faces severe storms with 60 mph winds and hail through 6:45 PM EDT. Watch for downed trees, power lines and debris on roads.
**Alaska:** Strong south winds of 30–45 mph, gusting to 65 mph, may make travel difficult in the Eastern Alaska Range north of Trims Camp and around Windy Pass in northern Denali Borough through 4 AM AKDT Wednesday. High-profile vehicles should use extra caution.
