Love’s Opens New Kingman, Arizona, Travel Stop With 127 Truck Parking Spaces
Love’s Travel Stops has opened a new travel stop in Kingman, Arizona, adding 127 truck parking spaces along Interstate 40, a major freight corridor linking the Southwest with the Midwest and Southeast.
The location, at Exit 37, is Love’s second travel stop in Kingman. The company said the new site provides free truck parking for Love’s customers and adds fueling and driver services in a heavily traveled area.
Truck parking remains a persistent challenge across the country, particularly along major interstate routes where demand often exceeds available capacity. Love’s said it has added 1,262 truck parking spaces nationwide so far in 2026.
For drivers moving freight through northern Arizona, the new facility provides another location to stop for fuel, food, parking and basic services without leaving the I-40 corridor. Love’s said the additional capacity supports regional trade and the national supply chain by improving access to parking and fueling on a heavy freight route.
New Kingman location includes driver amenities
The new store covers 14,307 square feet and includes nine diesel bays, six showers, laundry facilities, CAT scales and a dog park. The site also has 26 bobtail parking spaces and self-checkout options.
Food options include fresh sandwiches, salads, wraps and fresh-cut fruit prepared on-site daily, along with an Arby’s. The amenities listed for the location also include Buffalo Wild Wings GO and Subway.
The store has space allocated for electric-vehicle chargers. Love’s said it could work with local utility companies to install charging stations if customer demand develops. The company did not provide a timeline for adding the chargers.
The parking expansion is part of Love’s broader effort to increase the number of spaces available to professional drivers. Free parking for customers can help reduce the need to search for a space at the end of a driving shift, although the new location is one addition within a national shortage that affects both interstate and regional freight operations.
Company also completes three remodels
Along with the Kingman opening, Love’s recently completed remodels at travel stops in Chickasha, Oklahoma; San Antonio, Texas; and Dublin, Georgia. The work was completed under the company’s Road Ahead improvement plan.
Love’s said the remodels provide updated store environments intended to improve traffic flow and the overall shopping experience. The company did not identify additional truck parking associated with those projects.
The San Antonio remodel was recognized with a $5,000 donation to CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital. Love’s donated $5,000 to Oklahoma Children’s Health Foundation in connection with the Chickasha project and $5,000 to Atrium Health Levine Children’s in connection with the Dublin remodel.
Donations mark Kingman grand opening
In connection with the Kingman grand opening, Love’s said it will donate $5,000 to Yucca Elementary School and another $5,000 to Phoenix Children’s.
The new stop adds capacity at a point where Interstate 40 carries long-haul traffic across Arizona and connects with routes serving California, New Mexico and other parts of the country. For professional drivers, the most direct benefit is the combination of 127 truck parking spaces with fuel, showers, laundry, food and scale services at the same location.
Love’s ongoing additions in Kingman and elsewhere reflect the importance of expanding parking as freight volumes continue to rely on interstate corridors. The company’s 2026 total includes parking added through new store openings and other projects across its network.
