This move builds on more than 16 months of evaluation, during which project44 tested eight AI agent vendors in live supply chain operations. Jett McCandless, founder and CEO of project44, explained the rationale in comments to industry publication LM. He noted that many supply chain AI systems operate without full context, lacking visibility into shipment status and requiring manual action on recommendations. LunaPath’s agents address this by automating repetitive freight tasks directly within the data graph, converting insights into coordinated, real-time execution.
