Netradyne Unveils Smarter AI Agents to Transform Fleet Safety Teams

Netradyne expands AI agent lineup for fleet safety teams
Netradyne has expanded the artificial intelligence tools available through its Netradyne Intelligence platform, adding a ready-made Campaign Agent, a custom agent builder and conversational answers based on live fleet data.
The update is aimed at helping fleet safety and operations teams reduce the time spent sorting alerts, preparing reports and organizing driver coaching. The new capabilities are available to Netradyne’s direct customers in the United States and Canada.
For drivers and managers, the changes center on how safety information is turned into follow-up work. Instead of relying only on standard reports, fleet managers can use prebuilt agents or describe a specific task in plain language. The system can then return findings and recommendations through the Netradyne portal or by email.
Campaign Agent adds a competition-based coaching option
The new Campaign Agent is designed to support driver coaching campaigns. Managers select the safety priorities and driver groups involved in a campaign, and the agent handles scoring, daily standings and driver updates.
The system also compares results from before, during and after a campaign. Those comparisons are intended to show where driving behavior improved and where additional coaching may still be needed.
The Campaign Agent joins two previously announced tools. Netradyne’s Collision Management Agent is designed to manage incidents from the initial report through resolution. The Coaching Agent identifies drivers who need attention based on goals set by the fleet and prepares coaching sessions using driver history, leading alerts and a recommended improvement plan.
For drivers, that approach can provide more context during a coaching conversation. Rather than focusing only on a single alert or video clip, a manager can review patterns in a driver’s activity and discuss a specific area for improvement.
Managers can create agents for specific fleet needs
Netradyne’s custom agent builder allows managers to create an agent without constructing a traditional report. A manager describes what the agent should do, selects the relevant driver groups, establishes conditions and sets a schedule.
Examples provided by the company include creating a shortlist of drivers for recognition or preparing fuel-efficiency coaching materials. The resulting agent can deliver updated findings and recommendations through the platform or email.
That flexibility allows different fleets to set up workflows around their own priorities. A fleet might use one agent to monitor a particular safety behavior, while another could be scheduled to identify drivers who need follow-up after a coaching session. The company said the goal is to reduce the need to repeatedly configure reports for recurring tasks.
Avneesh Agrawal, Netradyne’s CEO, said fleet teams often lack the time to configure reports and assemble answers from multiple sources.
“Agents give managers an easy and scalable way to draw on Netradyne Intelligence,” Agrawal said in the announcement. “They describe what matters and agents bring it to them, with people staying in control.”
Netradyne said customers created more than 250 agents within the first month after the initial release of the capability.
Conversational tools use live fleet information
The expanded platform also allows managers to ask questions about their fleet and receive answers based on current data. Follow-up questions can examine what changed and break results down by driver, group, behavior or time period.
When a response becomes useful as a recurring workflow, a manager can turn it into a scheduled agent. This creates a way to move from a one-time question to regular monitoring without rebuilding the analysis each time.
The conversational features are also available through AI tools outside the Netradyne portal. The company’s MCP connector is designed to connect those tools with fleet-specific information, allowing teams to ask questions and build agents within supported applications such as ChatGPT and Claude.
The platform’s broader purpose is to help fleets act on the information generated by driver-facing cameras, safety systems and fleet management tools. Netradyne introduced Netradyne Intelligence in June, describing it as a system built on more than 30 billion miles and 150 billion minutes of real-world driving data.
At that launch, the company said its agents could interpret context, complete multistep workflows and follow through on tasks for managers. Netradyne added the Collision Management Agent and MCP connector in August. The latest update gives managers more control over the types of work the agents perform.
The company’s announcement comes as fleet teams continue to manage large volumes of safety information while maintaining daily operations. A 2026 survey cited in the announcement found that 80% of more than 600 fleet professionals still manually entered fleet data, with many spending several hours each week on that work.
Netradyne will demonstrate the expanded capabilities at the American Trucking Associations’ Management Conference & Exhibition in Charlotte, North Carolina, from Oct. 17 through Oct. 20. The tools are currently available to direct Netradyne customers in the United States and Canada.
