New Love’s opens in Kingman, Ariz., with 127 truck parking spaces
Love’s Travel Stops has opened a new location in Kingman, Arizona, adding 127 truck parking spaces along Interstate 40 and expanding the company’s services on a major freight corridor.
The travel stop is located at Exit 37 and is Love’s second location in Kingman. The parking spaces are free for Love’s customers, giving professional drivers another place to stop along a heavily traveled route through northern Arizona.
“With existing and new locations, Love’s continues its support of professional truck drivers by providing amenities and services that support them,” the company said.
The Kingman location includes 26 bobtail parking spaces, nine diesel bays, six showers, laundry facilities, CAT scales, a dog park and self-checkout options. Food choices include Love’s fresh food, Buffalo Wild Wings GO and Subway.
The new store also has space allocated for electric vehicle chargers. Love’s said it could work with local utility companies to install charging stations if customer demand develops. The company did not provide a timeline for adding the chargers.
As part of the grand opening, Love’s said it will donate $5,000 to Yucca Elementary School and $5,000 to Phoenix Children’s.
Parking expansion continues nationwide
The Kingman opening is part of a broader Love’s expansion and investment plan for 2026. The Oklahoma City-based company said it plans to add 1,500 truck parking spaces during the year, bringing its nationwide total to more than 52,000 by year’s end. Love’s also said it has added 1,262 spaces across the country so far in 2026.
Truck parking remains a persistent challenge for professional drivers, particularly along major freight routes where available spaces can fill early in the day. Love’s said the new and expanded locations are intended to provide additional free parking while also helping drivers handle fueling, rest and basic service needs in one stop.
In addition to the parking expansion, Love’s plans to open 20 new locations and update 35 existing stores in 2026. The company currently operates 669 locations in 42 states.
The company also plans to open two new truck care locations and four truck washes during the year. Of its existing locations, 433 include truck service operations, including 420 described as full-service centers. Love’s also operates a mobile roadside assistance network that provides services such as tire replacement and light mechanical repairs.
Love’s President Shane Wharton said the company’s 2026 priorities include new and updated locations, expanded food and snack options, added amenities for recreational vehicle users, improvements to its loyalty program and updated technology.
Remodeled locations and additional services
Love’s recently completed remodels at stores in Chickasha, Oklahoma; San Antonio, Texas; and Dublin, Georgia. The company said the updates are designed to improve traffic flow and the overall shopping experience.
Love’s also made charitable donations in connection with the remodels. The company donated $5,000 to CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, $5,000 to Oklahoma Children’s Health Foundation in Chickasha and $5,000 to Atrium Health Levine Children’s in Dublin.
For RV travelers, Love’s plans to open 23 new RV Stops in 2026, adding 150 hookups to its network. After those additions, the company expects its RV network to include more than 140 locations and 2,000 hookups nationwide.
Love’s also plans to begin selling RV tires and batteries this spring. Those products will be offered at 79 locations that have both truck care services and RV hookups.
For drivers, the Kingman opening adds parking, fuel capacity, food and basic amenities at a location positioned along one of the West’s key east-west trucking routes. The company’s larger 2026 plan reflects a continued focus on expanding parking and truck service capacity while upgrading existing travel stops.
