🚗 **Road-Weather Update**
**New Mexico:** Flash flooding is ongoing in Lea County, including Tatum, McDonald, Crossroads, Caprock and Maljamar, through **1:30 a.m. MDT.** Thunderstorms have dropped 0.5–1.5 inches of rain, with another 0.5 inch possible. Low-water crossings, streets, underpasses and highways may flood. **Never drive through flooded roads—turn around, don’t drown.**
**New York:** A Flood Watch is in effect from noon through this evening for Dutchess and Ulster Counties. Thunderstorms may produce downpours of **1–2 inches per hour**, creating rapid flooding on urban streets, poor-drainage areas and low-lying roads. Be prepared for ponding water and changing road conditions.
