🚗 **Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
– **Arizona:** Life-threatening flash flooding is ongoing in the Phoenix-area communities of **Phoenix, New River, Cave Creek, Carefree and Anthem**, with 0.75–1.25 inches already reported and more possible. Washes, creeks and low-water crossings—including near Skunk Creek and Cave Creek—may be dangerous through **9:30 AM MST**. A separate warning covers the **Paria River near Paria Canyon, Vermilion Cliffs and Lees Ferry** through **9:45 AM MST/10:45 AM MDT**. Avoid slot canyons and never drive through floodwater.
– **New Mexico:** Flash flooding is affecting **Leasburg, Radium Springs and Hill** in central Doña Ana County. Up to 1 inch has fallen, with more possible; flooding may impact streets, underpasses, highways, arroyos and low-lying areas through **10:30 AM MDT**.
– **Florida:** Minor flooding continues along the **St. Johns River near Astor** in Lake and Volusia Counties. Water covers portions of **Clair Street, Fox Road, Acorn, Hazelnut and Redbud roads**, with river levels expected to gradually subside. Do not drive around barricades or through flooded areas.
– **Colorado, Kansas and southwest Nebraska:** A Flood Watch is in effect from this evening through Thursday afternoon. Multi-day rainfall of **1–3 inches**, with isolated totals of **4–5 inches**, could cause flooding in streams, rivers, urban areas and poor-drainage locations. Monitor conditions and be prepared to change travel plans.
– **Nebraska:** Minor urban and small-stream flooding around **Columbus and Camp Pawnee** should subside shortly, but 1–2 inches of rain has fallen. Use caution on water-covered roads.
