🚨 **ROAD-WEATHER UPDATE**

**North Carolina:** Tornado warnings are active for parts of **Franklin, Warren, Nash, and Duplin counties**. Storms near **Louisburg/Bunn** are moving northeast at **35–40 mph**, while a confirmed tornado near **Wallace** is moving northeast at **25 mph**. The warning includes **NC Highway 264 between mile markers 23 and 30** and expires between **2:15 and 2:30 PM EDT**. **Take shelter immediately—do not remain in a vehicle.**

A broader **Tornado Watch** continues across central/eastern North Carolina and southeastern/central Virginia—including the **Raleigh, Rocky Mount, Greenville, New Bern, Jacksonville, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Petersburg areas—through 5 PM or 8 PM EDT**, depending on location. **California:** Strong southwest winds are expected across the **Mojave Desert, Indian Wells Valley, and Mojave Desert Slopes**, with gusts up to **50 mph through 8 AM Monday**. Use extra caution on **US 395 and State Routes 14, 58, and 178**, especially in high-profile vehicles. Gusts up to **45 mph** are also expected near **I-5** west of the highway through **11 PM PDT**.
