**Road-Weather Update | Aug. 5**
**Arizona:** Severe thunderstorms and flash flooding are affecting southeastern Arizona.
– **Graham County/Safford area:** Routes **191, 70 and 266** face possible flooding, damaging winds up to **60 mph**, and large hail. Flash flooding is possible through **10 PM MST**.
– **Santa Cruz County:** Route **82 near Patagonia** may flood; storms are producing up to **60 mph winds** and quarter-size hail. Flood warning continues until **9:30 PM MST**.
– **Cochise County:** Routes **80, 82 and 90** near Tombstone and Sierra Vista could see 60 mph winds and hail through **8 PM MST**.
**Pennsylvania:** Flash flooding is underway from thunderstorms. Roadway flooding is reported near **Phoenixville**, including concerns along **I-476, I-76, the Northeast Extension and the Pennsylvania Turnpike**. Rainfall rates may reach **1–2.5 inches per hour**; warning continues until **1:15 AM EDT**. In Fayette and Westmoreland counties, several roads—including **Buchanan, Clinton and Quail Hill roads**—are flooded after **1.5–3 inches** of rain. Warning expires at **midnight EDT**.
**Kansas:** A severe thunderstorm near **Severy and Fall River** is moving east at **20 mph**, with 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail possible through **9:45 PM CDT**.
**New Mexico:** Minor flooding is possible in **Hidalgo County**, including around **Lordsburg and Shakespeare**, where 1–1.5 inches of rain has fallen. Watch for water in arroyos and low-lying roads through **9:30 PM MDT**.
