• **Utah:** Life-threatening flash flooding is ongoing or expected through **4 PM MDT** in northeastern Garfield and south-central Wayne counties, including Capitol Reef National Park near Sheets Gulch, Five Mile Wash and the Fremont River. Heavy storms have dropped **0.5–1.25 inches**. Never drive through flooded washes, roads or underpasses.

• **Pennsylvania:** Severe storms are affecting the south-central region. **I-81 near Chambersburg** and **I-83 near York** may see 60 mph wind gusts, damaging hail and torrential rain through **3:30 PM EDT**. Flash flooding is also possible around Chambersburg, where 1–2 inches has fallen and another 1–2 inches may fall through **6 PM**. Severe-storm watches continue across central PA into the evening.

• **Maryland, Virginia & West Virginia:** Widespread severe thunderstorms are producing **60 mph winds**, downed trees and possible road blockages from western Maryland and the WV Panhandle through the Shenandoah Valley. Use extra caution near Hagerstown, Martinsburg, Winchester, Strasburg, Harrisonburg and Covington. In West Virginia, storms near **I-64, the West Virginia Turnpike and Route 19** could bring 60 mph gusts, hail and torrential rain through **3:30 PM EDT**. A broader severe-thunderstorm watch covers much of MD, VA, WV and DC until **9 PM EDT**.

• **North Carolina & South Carolina:** Severe storms near Wilmington and Leland, NC, and along **I-20 and I-77 around Columbia, SC**, may bring 60 mph winds and hail through **3:30–3:45 PM EDT**. Watch for fallen trees, power lines and sudden visibility reductions in heavy rain. Georgetown, SC, is also under a severe-storm warning.

• **Ohio:** A severe storm near Bellefontaine may produce **60 mph winds, penny-size hail and torrential rain** through **3:30 PM EDT**. Severe-storm watches stretch across much of central and southwest Ohio, southeast Indiana and northern Kentucky until **8 PM EDT**.
