**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
⚠️ **Pennsylvania:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected near **Berwick, Shamokin, Mount Carmel, Kulpmont and Elysburg** through **5 PM EDT**. Another 1–2 inches of rain is possible after 1–3 inches have already fallen, with flooding possible on highways, streets, underpasses and low-lying roads. Severe storms are also affecting the **Hazleton area**, **Lancaster/York counties**, and along **I-81 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Chambersburg and Greencastle**, producing up to **60 mph winds** and quarter-size hail. Do not drive through flooded roads; slow down for wind, hail and debris.
⛈️ **Oklahoma:** Severe storms moving southeast at 20 mph across the **Oklahoma City, Edmond, Yukon, Midwest City and Del City** areas may produce **60 mph wind gusts** and quarter-size hail through **1:30 PM CDT**. Expect sudden visibility drops, hazardous crosswinds and possible tree debris.
⛈️ **South Carolina:** A severe storm near **Summerton and Manning** is moving north at 15 mph, threatening **I-95 from mile markers 106–129** and the Sumter area with **60 mph winds** and hail through **2:30 PM EDT**. Avoid stopping beneath trees and watch for downed limbs or power lines.
⛈️ **Iowa & Minnesota:** Severe storms near **Lake Mills, Emmons, Rice Lake, Rake and Scarville, Iowa**, and near **Alden, Conger, Emmons and Twin Lakes, Minnesota**, may bring quarter-size hail, 60 mph winds in Iowa, torrential rain and localized flooding. If caught on the road, seek safe shelter rather than waiting out hail in your vehicle.
🌧️ **North Carolina:** Heavy rain in **Alleghany and Ashe counties**, including near **Laurel Springs**, could flood low-water crossings and poor-drainage roads through **4:45 PM EDT**. An additional 0.2–0.8 inches of rain is expected. Use an alternate route if roads are covered by water.
