🚗 **Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
**Texas:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected in El Paso, including East, Central, Northeast and Far East El Paso and Mission Valley, through **10 PM MDT**. Thunderstorms have dropped 1–1.5 inches, with another 0.5–1 inch possible. Streets, highways and underpasses may flood.
**Arkansas:** Dangerous flash flooding is affecting southwestern Polk County near Wickes, Grannis, Vandervoort, Mccauley and Hatton through **11:30 PM CDT**. Rainfall totals of 2–5 inches, plus another 1–2 inches possible, may flood roads and low-water areas. Flooding is also occurring or imminent in southeastern Carroll and northeastern Madison counties after 3–4.5 inches of rain.
**New Mexico:** Severe storms near **I-40 from mile markers 305 to 352** and State Road 104 from mile markers 89 to 105 may produce **60 mph wind gusts, half-dollar-size hail and torrential rain** through **8:45 PM MDT**. Use caution around Tucumcari, Quay, Logan, Ragland and Montoya; strong winds, hail and flash flooding can quickly make travel hazardous.
**Iowa:** A severe thunderstorm moving south at 25 mph near Hillsboro may bring **60 mph winds and ping-pong-ball-size hail** through **9:30 PM CDT**. Travel may be hazardous near Salem, Hillsboro, St. Paul, Pilot Grove and Houghton. Severe storms remain possible across southeast Iowa through **10 PM CDT**.
**Indiana:** Flooding is ongoing or expected in northwestern Madison and east-central Tipton counties through **2 AM EDT**, where 1.5–2.5 inches of rain has fallen. Nighttime travel near Elwood and rural low-lying roads may be especially dangerous.
**Missouri:** Heavy rain is causing minor flooding around Springfield, Battlefield, Brookline, Galloway, Nixa, Ozark, Rogersville and Sparta through **midnight CDT**. Avoid low-water crossings, including roads near Wilson Creek, Stewart Creek, Panther Creek and the Finley River.
