🚗 **Road-Weather Update: Flooding and Severe Storm Hazards**

**Ohio:** Flash flooding is affecting Erie County, including Sandusky, Castalia, Northern Milan and Bloomingville, through **7:45 AM EDT**. Central Ohio—including the Columbus, Lancaster, Westerville, Reynoldsburg and Logan areas—has reported flash flooding after 1–2.5 inches of rain, with another 1–2 inches possible; warning continues until **8:30 AM EDT**. Flooded streets, underpasses and low-lying roads are possible.

Severe storms are also moving southeast across northwest and north-central Ohio, bringing **60 mph wind gusts**, hail and torrential rain. Areas near Bowling Green, Fremont, Perrysburg, Tiffin, Norwalk and Fostoria could see tree and power-line damage and rapidly deteriorating road conditions through **6:30–7 AM EDT**.

**Indiana:** A severe thunderstorm near Culver, Argos, Bourbon and Mentone is moving east at **40 mph** with **60 mph winds** and quarter-size hail through **6:15 AM EDT**. In northwest Indiana, minor flooding is affecting areas near Merrillville, Schererville, Hobart, Crown Point and Highland through **8 AM CDT**; creeks, poor-drainage areas and roads may be affected.

**Maryland:** Garrett County has ongoing small-stream flooding, with **numerous roads closed** and low-water crossings inundated. Heavy rain of **1.5 to 4.5 inches** has affected the Grantsville, Bittinger, Friendsville and Accident areas. The Flood Warning remains in effect until **8 AM EDT**.

**Arizona:** Flooding is occurring along the **Indian Bend Wash** near Paradise Valley and downtown Scottsdale, where low-water crossings may be impassable through **5 AM MST**. Additional arroyo and small-stream flooding is possible near Buckeye, Tonopah and Aguila through **6 AM MST**. Southeast Arizona, including the Tucson metro area, Nogales, Sierra Vista, Benson, Douglas and surrounding mountain areas, faces a flash-flood threat this afternoon and evening; stronger storms may produce rainfall rates over **1 inch per hour**, with isolated totals of **2 inches or more in an hour**.
