**South-Central Missouri:** Flash flooding is underway or possible through early morning in Carter, Howell and Oregon counties, including Van Buren, Mountain View, Willow Springs, Alton and surrounding low-water crossings. **Highway 17 is closed at Jam Up Creek** in Howell County. Rainfall of **2–5 inches** has fallen in parts of Howell County, with 1–3 inches elsewhere. Never drive through flooded roads, underpasses or low-water crossings—turn around, don’t drown.
**South-Central Indiana:** Heavy thunderstorms have brought **1–2 inches of rain**, with another **0.5–1 inch possible**, creating minor flooding through **3:30 AM EDT** in Orange County, including Paoli, Orleans and French Lick. Use extra caution on low-lying and poorly drained roads.
