**🚨 TORNADO WARNINGS — ILLINOIS:** Seek shelter now; do not try to drive through warned areas. Tornadic storms are moving east at 15–25 mph and affect **I-80 near mile markers 34–35** in Henry County until **10:15 PM CDT**, and **I-74 between mile markers 57–74** in Knox/Peoria counties until **10:45 PM CDT**. Southeastern Lee County, including Amboy, West Brooklyn, Compton and Lee Center, is warned until **10:30 PM CDT**. Lee County also faces 60 mph winds, quarter-size hail and torrential rain through **10:45 PM CDT**. Check the NWS for the latest information.
**Arizona:** A dangerous dust storm is affecting Maricopa and Pinal counties, including **I-8 mile markers 106–172**, Route 238 and Route 85, until **9 PM MST**. Visibility may drop below a quarter-mile with winds over 50 mph. Do not drive into dust—pull completely off the road, turn off lights and keep your foot off the brake. Severe storms may bring 60 mph winds near I-8, while flash flooding threatens Route 85 in northwestern Pima County after 1–2 inches of rain. Flooding is also possible near Route 86 around San Simon and Vaya Chin.
**Alabama:** Flooding is occurring or imminent around Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal and Triana through **12:45 AM CDT**. An estimated 3–4 inches of rain fell in parts of northern and western Huntsville, with rapidly rising creeks. Avoid flooded streets and low-lying routes.
**Colorado/Kansas:** Severe thunderstorms with 60 mph winds are affecting Sedgwick County, Colorado, and the Cheyenne County, Colorado/Wallace County, Kansas area. Use caution near **Highway 385** in eastern Colorado; warnings run as late as **9:45 PM MDT**. Hail and damaging winds can quickly make rural roads hazardous.
**Ohio:** A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect through **midnight EDT** for Newark and parts of north-central Ohio including Ashland, Mansfield, Mount Gilead and Mount Vernon. Be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions if storms develop.
**North Carolina:** Heavy rain has produced 1–2.5 inches across parts of the Asheboro, Albemarle, Badin Lake, Badin and Denton areas, with another 1–1.5 inches possible through **1:45 AM EDT**. Watch for water covering low-lying and poor-drainage roads.
