**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

🚗 **California/Arizona:** Dangerous dust storm conditions near **I-10 in Riverside and Imperial counties, CA**, with visibility below ¼ mile and winds over 40 mph through **7 PM PDT**. Avoid driving into dust; if caught, pull completely off the road, turn off lights, and keep your foot off the brake.

🌧️ **Arizona:** Life-threatening flash flooding is ongoing or possible across parts of western, central and east-central Arizona. Key trouble spots include **I-17, SR-69, SR-89, SR-96, SR-97, SR-288, and AZ-95**, plus the Lake Havasu City/Parker Dam area. Several areas have already received 1–3.5 inches of rain, with more possible. Expect flooded washes, underpasses, and muddy or impassable roads. Never drive through floodwater.

⛈️ **Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ:** A severe storm near Paradise Valley is nearly stationary, capable of **60 mph winds and penny-size hail** through **6:15 PM MST**. Use caution on AZ-51 and Loop 101.

🌧️ **Colorado/New Mexico/Nevada:** Flash flooding is a concern near the **Elk RBX burn scar in eastern Rio Blanco County, CO**, where intense rainfall could trigger debris flows across roads. Flooding is also ongoing around **Engle, Cutter, Ash Canyon and Elephant Butte Lake, NM**. In western Nevada, heavy rain may cause low-lying road flooding near **US-395, Gardnerville and Minden**.

⛈️ **Nebraska, South Dakota & Montana:** Severe thunderstorms may bring damaging winds and hail. In Nebraska, warnings include **Highways 2, 61 and 250** in the Cherry/Sheridan/Garden County region, with wind gusts up to **70 mph** and large hail. Storms are also affecting the Terry area of eastern Montana, while severe-storm watches cover broad areas of Nebraska and southwest South Dakota.

🌧️ **Indiana, Kentucky & Ohio:** Widespread flooding concerns continue. Northern Indiana has received **3–8 inches of rain**, with isolated totals up to 12 inches; additional thunderstorms could produce 1–2 inches per hour. Flood watches extend across much of Indiana, northern Kentucky and Ohio through Thursday evening or Friday morning. Central Kentucky, including **Lexington, Nicholasville, Versailles and Harrodsburg**, has localized low-road flooding after 0.5–2 inches of rain.
