🚨 **Tornado danger:** A confirmed tornado near Hartly, Delaware, is moving east at 30 mph toward Sudlersville, Kenton and Templeville. The warning expires at 6:15 PM EDT. If driving, get out of your vehicle and into a sturdy building immediately—do not try to outrun it. Check the NWS for the latest information.
**Mid-Atlantic:** Severe storms with winds up to 70 mph are moving east at 45 mph through the Philadelphia–Camden–Wilmington area through 6:15 PM EDT. Flash flooding is also expected through 9:45 PM, with rainfall rates of 1.5–2.5 inches per hour and flooded streets, underpasses and highways possible. Additional flash flooding affects Atlantic City and the Newark–Jersey City–New York City metro area through this evening. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 10 PM EDT for parts of Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and northern Virginia.
**Ohio:** Major flooding is forecast near Buckeye Lake, where I-70 is closed near Exit 129 and flooding may affect I-70 between Exits 122 and 126. Flooding is also possible near Hebron, Newark, Spring Valley and northern Perry County; several roads remain closed in Perry County. Never drive around barricades or into water-covered roads.
**Mississippi and the Ark-La-Miss:** Severe storms are producing 60–70 mph wind gusts and damaging hail across much of Mississippi, southeast Arkansas and northeast Louisiana. I-22 near mile markers 77–78 in Pontotoc County is included. Western Lee and northern Pontotoc counties have received 3–5 inches of rain in 90 minutes, with flash flooding reported near County Road 244 and Highway 15.
**Florida:** Severe storms with 60 mph winds and hail are affecting Jacksonville and Palmdale. Heavy rain may flood low-lying roads around Jacksonville, Orange Park, Green Cove Springs, Palatka, and parts of Brevard and Osceola counties.
**Elsewhere:** Severe storms with 60 mph winds are affecting I-40 between mile markers 124 and 142 near Seligman, Arizona; torrential rain could trigger flash flooding. Strong storms also affect southeastern Oklahoma and north-central Nebraska. Heavy rain is causing roadway flooding concerns around I-65 and I-165 in Mobile, Alabama, and in central Grant County, New Mexico.
