**⚠️ Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

**Tornado danger in Maryland:** Tornado Warnings are in effect for central **St. Mary’s County until 7:30 PM EDT** and **Dorchester County until 7:15 PM EDT.** Tornadic storms are moving east at 25–30 mph near Lexington Park, Leonardtown, California, Cambridge and nearby communities. **Do not drive into warned areas—seek sturdy shelter immediately and check the NWS for the latest information.** Tornado Watches continue until 10 PM EDT for southern Maryland, parts of eastern/central Delaware, southern New Jersey, and the Fredericksburg–Stafford area of Virginia.

**Mid-Atlantic flooding:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected around **Dover, Denton, Harrington, Camden and Greensboro** through 11 PM EDT, with 1.5–2.5 inches already fallen and another 1–3 inches possible. Flooding also affects the Philadelphia–Camden–Wilmington corridor, Trenton and nearby southeast Pennsylvania through late evening. In Atlantic County, New Jersey, 2–4 inches of rain has flooded parts of the **Atlantic City Expressway near Exit 9** and the **Garden State Parkway.** Never drive through flooded streets, underpasses, or highway ramps.

**Ohio and Indiana:** Numerous roads remain closed by flooding in Monroe and Noble Counties, Ohio, with impacts expected through 7 AM Friday. Near Buckeye Lake, flooding has closed both directions of **I-70 near Exit 129**, with additional impacts possible between Exits 122 and 126. Flooding also affects the Marietta–Macksburg area. In Indiana, minor flooding is forecast along the Driftwood River near Edinburgh Friday into early Sunday.

**Severe storms:**
• **Mississippi:** Storms capable of 60 mph winds and hail are affecting the Gulf Coast near **I-10 and I-110 around Biloxi and Pascagoula**, plus portions of central and north Mississippi. Flash flooding near Highway 15 and County Road 244 in Lee/Pontotoc counties has followed 4–7 inches of rain.
• **Arkansas/Louisiana:** A storm near Crossett, Bastrop and Lake Providence is moving southeast at 40 mph with wind gusts up to **70 mph** and half-dollar-size hail.
• **Florida/Georgia:** 60 mph wind gusts and hail threaten areas near Mayo, Cross City, Yulee, St. Marys and Americus. Torrential rain may quickly flood roads.
• **Minnesota:** 60 mph winds and large hail are possible near Remer, Hill City, Hibbing and Chisholm.
• **Colorado, Texas and Arizona:** Severe storms bring 60 mph winds and hail near Cripple Creek/Victor, Hereford, and Chino Valley. In Arizona, heavy rain is creating hazardous travel on **SR-89 between mile markers 320 and 336**, including slick roads, muddy unpaved routes and water in washes.
• **New York and Alabama:** Heavy rain may cause minor road flooding around Islip and Brentwood, NY, and Frisco City and Uriah, AL.
