**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

🚧 **Arizona:** Life-threatening flash flooding is ongoing or possible in Coconino County around Grand Canyon locations including Pima Point, Hermit’s Rest, Bright Angel Point and Phantom Ranch through 5:45–6 PM MST. Heavy rain has already produced up to 1 inch in some areas; washes, paved roads, underpasses and dirt roads may be flooded or impassable. In southeastern Arizona near Sonoita and Elgin, flash flooding threatens **Route 82 (mile markers 23–43)** and **Route 83 (mile markers 22–36)** through 5:30 PM MST after 1–1.5 inches of rain, with another inch possible.

🚧 **New Mexico:** Flash flooding around Ruidoso, Ruidoso Downs, Glencoe and Hollywood—including the South Fork burn scar—continues through 6:45 PM MDT. Up to 0.75 inches has fallen near Upper Canyon, with more rain possible. Expect debris flows, flooded roadways and potential washouts near the Rio Ruidoso drainage.

⛈️ **Utah:** Severe storms with 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail are crossing parts of central and southern Utah. Use caution on **US-89 between mile markers 11–37**, plus **US-6 (mile markers 58–113)** and **US-50 (mile markers 90–97)**. Storms are moving east at 25 mph. Flash flooding is also possible in Kane County’s washes and drainage toward Buckskin Gulch and The Wave through 10:45 PM MDT.

⛈️ **Nebraska/Wyoming:** Severe thunderstorms moving east at 45 mph may bring 60 mph winds and hail across the Nebraska Panhandle and southeastern Wyoming, including Scottsbluff, Gering, Mitchell, Morrill and areas near Montrose. Warnings run through 4:30–4:45 PM MDT.

⛈️ **South Dakota:** Western Fall River County—including Edgemont, Provo and Ardmore—faces severe storms moving northeast at 50 mph with 60 mph winds and small hail through 4:45 PM MDT.

🌧️ **Florida & North Carolina:** Heavy thunderstorms may cause minor low-lying road flooding near Rainbow Lakes Estates and Romeo in west-central Marion County, Florida, through 7 PM EDT; and around Whiteville, Tabor City and Chadbourn in Columbus County, North Carolina, through 8 PM EDT.
