The Moab Police Department stopped Singh on Sept. 1 after reportedly observing him driving a semi-truck approximately 20 mph over the posted speed limit.
Authorities identified Singh as a 30-year-old Indian national. Following the stop, he was arrested on an outstanding warrant related to a March 29 crash in Ontario, California.
California Crash Investigation
Investigators say Singh was accused of causing a multi-vehicle pileup in Ontario. The crash resulted in at least one death, although the available information did not provide additional details about the victims or the circumstances leading to the collision.
