🚗 **Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
🌧️ **Flooding—New Mexico & West Texas:** Flash Flood Warnings continue for **Hobbs, Carlsbad, Lovington, Friona, Bovina, Hereford, Amarillo, and Canyon** through roughly **3–4:15 a.m.** Up to **1–3 inches of rain has fallen**, with more possible. Flooding is affecting roads, underpasses, low-water crossings, and some county roads are closed in Parmer County. Avoid flooded roadways, especially at night.
Additional Flood Watches cover much of **central and northern New Mexico and western Texas**, including the **Highway 54 corridor**, through Wednesday or Thursday. Tropical moisture from the remnants of Hurricane Polo may produce more heavy rain over saturated ground.
🌧️ **Arizona:** Flooding continues across eastern Arizona, including **Show Low, Springerville, Eagar, and Pinetop-Lakeside**, with **2–3 inches of rain** reported. Creeks, washes, and rivers are running high, including along **SR-260, SR-73, SR-61, SR-277, and SR-77**. The warning continues until about **10:45 a.m. MST**. Unpaved roads may become muddy or impassable.
🌧️ **Nebraska & Southwest Iowa:** Flood Watches remain in effect through Thursday evening. Expect **2–4 inches of rain**, with localized totals of **5–6 inches** possible. Flash-flooding risk is highest this afternoon and evening, especially near saturated ground, streams, and low-water crossings.
🌫️ **Dense fog—Kansas & Nebraska:** Visibility may fall to **¼–½ mile** through **11 a.m. CDT** in parts of northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska. Slow down, use headlights, and increase following distance.
🌊 **Massachusetts:** The Taunton River near Bridgewater is causing minor flooding, with some roads and **Woloski Park** in Middleboro potentially impassable. The warning continues through late tonight.
