🚗 **Nationwide road-weather update from NWS alerts:**
**Texas:** Life-threatening flash flooding is affecting Kimble County, including **I-10 between mile markers 434–477, US-83, US-377 and US-290**. Up to 3 inches of rain has fallen, with up to 2 more possible; creeks, low-water crossings, highways and underpasses may be flooded. The warning runs until **6:00 a.m. CDT**. Flooding is also affecting **Wichita Falls, Burkburnett, Iowa Park and Holliday** through **3:45 a.m. CDT**, with 1–3 inches already reported. Additional flood advisories cover parts of north-central and west-central Texas, including **San Angelo, Mineral Wells, Graham, Breckenridge, Jacksboro and Olney**, generally through **4:15–6:00 a.m. CDT**. A severe storm near northwestern Edwards County may produce **60-mph wind gusts, quarter-size hail and torrential rain**; that warning expires at **3:15 a.m. CDT**.
**Oklahoma:** Flash flood warnings remain in effect around **Oklahoma City, Norman, Edmond, Moore and Midwest City** until **4:30 a.m. CDT**, and across parts of southern Oklahoma near **Pauls Valley, Lindsay, Wynnewood, Maysville and Stephens County** until **5:15 a.m. CDT**. Two to 3 inches of rain has fallen in spots, with more possible. Expect flooded streets, underpasses and low-lying roads.
**Kansas and Nebraska:** Significant flooding continues across north-central Kansas, where **3–5 inches** of rain has fallen and many rural roads are flooded. Flood watches extend through **this evening** across portions of Kansas and southern Nebraska, with additional runoff and rising streams possible. In Nebraska, flooding is affecting areas near **Wahoo, Eagle, Elmwood, Greenwood, Murdock and Walton**, including **I-80 between mile markers 412–426**; some roads remain closed. River flooding may also affect **Highway 148 near Barnes**, **Blueridge Drive near De Witt**, and low-lying areas near **Highway 50 by Louisville**.
**Iowa and southeastern Nebraska:** Flooding continues near **Earling, Irwin, Defiance, Syracuse, Hickman, Weeping Water, Bennet and Elmwood** after **2–5 inches of rain**, with up to another inch possible. Warnings generally continue until **1:00 p.m. CDT**.
**Alaska:** Gusty southwest winds in Skagway may reach **30 mph** through **1:00 p.m. AKDT**, making travel difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.
