⚠️ **Arizona & New Mexico:** Dangerous dust storms are impacting **I-10** in Cochise County, AZ, and west-central Hidalgo County, NM. Visibility may fall below **¼ mile**, with winds exceeding **60 mph** in New Mexico. In Arizona, a severe thunderstorm near **Bowie** is producing up to **60 mph wind gusts** and quarter-size hail. Avoid I-10 if possible; if caught in blowing dust, safely pull off the road, turn off lights, and keep your foot off the brake.
🌧️ **Virginia:** Significant flooding is affecting the **Hopewell, Colonial Heights, Fort Lee, Chester, and Petersburg** area through **3:45 AM EDT Wednesday**. **4–6 inches of rain** have fallen, and numerous roads are closed. Do not drive around barricades or through flooded roads.
🌧️ **Carolinas:** Flooding is affecting roads in the **Durham/Falls Lake area of North Carolina**; **1–2 additional inches** of rain are possible through 11 PM EDT. In South Carolina, watch for flooded low spots near **Campobello and Old Mill Road**, plus the Columbia/Richland County area—including **I-20 (mile markers 72–79)** and **I-77 (mile markers 4–23)**—through late evening.
🌧️ **Texas:** Heavy rain is causing ponding and minor flooding in **Harris and Montgomery counties**, including north and northwest Houston neighborhoods. Another **½ to 2 inches** of rain is possible through 9:45 PM CDT.
