**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

🌧️ **Flooding is the main travel threat across parts of the Southern Plains and Midwest:**

– **North Texas:** Flash flood warnings cover Cooke and Montague counties near Bowie, Nocona, Muenster and St. Jo through **7:00 AM CDT** after **3–6 inches of rain**, with up to 1 inch more possible. Warnings also continue in parts of Archer and Clay counties near Scotland, Windthorst and Lake Arrowhead through **6:00 AM CDT** after **2–5 inches**.
– **Central and West Texas:** Flood advisories continue near **US-190** in McCulloch and San Saba counties, around Brownwood, Kerrville, Comfort and surrounding Hill Country areas, and near Pandale and Pumpville in Val Verde County. Low-water crossings, creeks and poor-drainage roads may flood through the morning. Some areas could receive up to 2 additional inches.
– **Southern Oklahoma:** Flash flood warnings cover areas near Ardmore, Sulphur, Madill, Davis, Marietta, Coalgate and surrounding communities. **2–4 inches** has fallen, with up to 1 inch more possible. Flood advisories continue near Seminole, Holdenville, Wewoka and Wetumka through **7:30 AM CDT**.
– **Iowa:** Flash flooding is occurring or expected around Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Grundy Center and nearby areas, including **I-380 between mile markers 65–73**, through **10:45 AM CDT**. Rainfall rates of **1–2 inches per hour** are possible, with another 1–2 inches expected.
– **Kansas:** Flooding is occurring or forecast along the Big Blue River near Blue Rapids, Mill Creek near Washington, and the Little Blue River near Barnes. Additional flooding is possible in western Kansas near Leoti, Sharon Springs, Tribune and Weskan.
– **Flood watches:** Southwest Iowa and eastern Nebraska remain under a flood watch through this evening. Eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois remain under a watch through late tonight, with another **1–2 inches of rain** possible.

🌴 **Northern Mariana Islands:** Tropical Storm Choi-wan is producing hazardous coastal conditions near Saipan and Tinian, with southwest winds of **25–35 knots, gusts up to 55 knots, and seas of 11–16 feet**. Small craft should remain in port.

Never drive through floodwater or around barricades—**turn around, don’t drown.** Slow down, allow extra stopping distance, and avoid low-water crossings, underpasses and flooded roads, especially at night.
