**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
π§ **Flooding**
– **Southeast Alaska:** A glacier-dammed lake outburst is causing flooding near the Mendenhall Lake and River in Juneau. Water may cover portions of **Skaters Cabin Road**, flood the Mendenhall Campground, and affect View Drive. Moderate flooding is expected Friday morning. **Do not drive or walk through floodwater.** Warning continues through Saturday at 7:45 a.m. AKDT.
– **Iowa:** Minor flooding continues along **Ioway Creek at Ames Lincoln Way** in Story County. The creek is near its 10.5-foot crest and should fall below flood stage later this morning.
– **South-central Texas:** Heavy thunderstorms have produced 2β3 inches of rain in parts of Jackson and Calhoun counties, with another 1β3 inches possible. Minor flooding and ponding are expected near **La Ward, Lolita, Vanderbilt, Lake Texana Dam, Point Comfort, Olivia, and Port Alto** through early morning.
– **Arizona:** Elevated Gila River levels continue near **Solomon and Calva** in Graham County. Low-lying areas near Calva could flood as the river rises toward a projected 14.2-foot crest early Saturday. Use caution near riverbanks.

Visibility may drop to **one-quarter mile or less** across eastern North Carolina, southeastern North Carolina, northeastern South Carolina, the South Carolina Midlands, and Burke County, Georgia, through 9β10 a.m. EDT. Slow down, use low-beam headlights or fog lights, avoid high beams, and increase following distance.
