– **Colorado:** A severe thunderstorm near **Simla and Matheson** is moving southeast at 25 mph, capable of **60 mph wind gusts and golf-ball-size hail** through **12:30 AM MDT**. Slow down for heavy rain, avoid flooded roadways, and seek shelter from hail and damaging winds.
– **North Carolina Outer Banks:** Severe storms near **Salvo, Avon, Buxton, Frisco, and Waves** are moving east at 20 mph with wind gusts near **60 mph** through **2:15 AM EDT**. Expect dangerous crosswinds, blowing debris, lightning, and torrential rain that may flood roads.
– **Kansas City metro / northeast Kansas / northwest Missouri:** A severe storm moving east at 40 mph may bring **60 mph winds and quarter-size hail** through **1:15 AM CDT**. Use caution on **I-70, I-35, I-29, I-635, I-435, and the Kansas Turnpike**; wind damage, debris, and hail could quickly make travel hazardous.
