**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
🚗 **Florida & Georgia:** Flooding is affecting low-lying areas near the **St. Mary’s River at Macclenny**, with the river forecast to crest near 12 feet just after midnight. Lower access roads, including portions of **St. Mary’s River Bluff Road**, may flood. Flooding also continues near **US-41 at Dunnellon** in Citrus, Levy and Marion counties. Heavy rain may cause additional minor flooding around **Crescent City, Pomona Park, Fort Caroline, Mayport, Deltona, Sanford, Lake Mary and Longwood** through early afternoon. Never drive around barricades or through flooded roads—**turn around, don’t drown.**
🌫️ **Alaska:** Dense fog in the central Copper Valley near **Gulkana and north** is reducing visibility to as low as one-quarter mile along the **Richardson Highway**. Freezing temperatures may create slippery roads and patchy black ice. Slow down, use headlights and increase following distance. Advisory through **10 AM AKDT**.
🌊 **Gulf Coast:** Hurricane and tropical storm watches cover Gulf waters from Louisiana and Mississippi to northwest Florida. Tropical-storm-force winds are possible Friday into early Saturday, with hurricane-force winds possible in parts of the Gulf; winds could reach **50–70 knots with gusts up to 95–100 knots**, along with very hazardous seas. Coastal travel and marine operations may be severely affected—mariners should remain in port or seek safe harbor.
