🌧️ **Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

**Southwest:** Flood Watches are in effect Saturday through late Sunday night across parts of **Arizona, Nevada, and southeastern California** due to tropical moisture. Flash flooding may affect creeks, washes, low-water crossings, urban areas, steep terrain, and recent burn scars; mud, rock, and debris flows are possible. **Never drive through floodwater.**

**Strong winds:** Southern and central Arizona, southern Nevada, southeastern California, the Imperial Valley, Yuma, Las Vegas Valley, and surrounding desert areas may see south winds of **20–35 mph with gusts up to 45–60 mph** Sunday into Monday. Crosswinds, blowing dust or sand, and reduced visibility may make travel difficultβ€”especially for RVs, tractor-trailers, and other high-profile vehicles. Slow down and avoid unnecessary travel in exposed areas.

**Alaska:** The eastern Alaska Range north of Trims Camp could see south winds of **35–45 mph with gusts up to 75 mph** from this afternoon through **7 AM Sunday**, creating difficult travel for high-profile vehicles. Northern Denali Borough near Windy Pass may see gusts up to **65 mph** through early Sunday.

**Montana:** A Winter Storm Watch covers the **Absaroka/Beartooth and Crazy Mountains** from Saturday evening through Monday morning. Heavy, blowing snow and **12 inches or more** are possible, with travel potentially very difficult to impossible over **Beartooth Pass and around Cooke City**.
