OOIDA Thanks Truckers With Special Membership Deal

The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association is offering new and renewing members one year of membership for $25 as part of an appreciation promotion for truckers across North America.

Discounted OOIDA Membership

The promotional rate represents a $20 savings from OOIDA’s regular membership price and is available throughout the month. The association represents owner-operators and independent truckers on legislative, regulatory and business issues affecting the trucking industry.

OOIDA has not provided additional details in the announcement about eligibility beyond the offer being available to new and renewing members.

OOIDA Legislative Priorities

The membership promotion comes as OOIDA continues to advocate on several issues before Congress, including truck parking, restroom access for drivers and lease-to-own agreements.

“We appreciate Congress’ action to avert a harmful shutdown of highway programs and look forward to working with lawmakers on a long-term highway bill that addresses OOIDA’s priorities, including dedicated funding for truck parking, ensuring truckers have the right to restroom access while on the job and cracking down on predatory lease-to-own schemes,” said Bryce Mongeon, OOIDA’s director of legislative affairs.
