**Road Weather Update:** Heavy thunderstorms are causing dangerous flooding across parts of the Appalachians and eastern Ohio.
• **Pennsylvania:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected in central and southwestern Somerset County, including Somerset, Meyersdale, Rockwood, Windber and Berlin. Rain totals of 2–4 inches have fallen, with more rain possible. Flooding may cover highways, streets, underpasses and low-lying roads through **6:30 AM EDT**.
• **Western Maryland:** Northern Garrett County, including the Grantsville and Bittinger area, has ongoing flash-flood concerns after 1.5–4 inches of rain. Avoid low-water crossings, underpasses and roads near creeks through **4:45 AM EDT**.
• **West Virginia:** Northern Pocahontas and central Randolph counties—including Mill Creek, Dailey, Beverly, Huttonsville and Glady—face flash flooding from thunderstorms through **6:30 AM EDT**. Creeks, streams and low-lying roads may flood quickly.
• **Ohio:** Flooding is reported or expected in parts of Athens, Morgan and Perry counties, including Crooksville, New Lexington, Somerset, Thornville and Glenford. Up to 3–5 inches of rain has fallen near Crooksville, with additional rain possible. Some warnings continue through **9:30 AM to noon EDT**.
• **Northeast Ohio/Northwest Pennsylvania:** A severe thunderstorm moving east at 30 mph may bring **60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail** near Ashtabula, Conneaut, North Kingsville, Albion and Kingsville through **4:30 AM EDT**. Watch for fallen trees, power lines and debris on roads.
• **Broader flood threat:** A Flood Watch remains in effect through **Friday morning** for northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, southwest Virginia and much of West Virginia. Repeated thunderstorms may produce heavy downpours and rapid runoff.
