Hammer Down Road Report

đźš— **Road-Weather Update**

**Virginia:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected through **7 PM EDT** around Disputanta, Prince George, Garysville, Burrowsville and Jordans Point, where **2.5–6.5 inches of rain** has fallen. A separate Flash Flood Warning continues through **8 PM EDT** for Norfolk, Portsmouth, northwestern Chesapeake and northeastern Suffolk, with **2.5–5 inches** reported and flooding already occurring. Streets, underpasses, highways and low-lying areas may be impassable—**do not drive through flooded roads.**

**Florida:** Around New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, Bethune Beach and Ponce Inlet, a severe thunderstorm is producing **60 mph wind gusts** through **6:15 PM EDT**, with heavy rain and minor flooding possible through **8 PM EDT**. Expect possible tree debris, hazardous crosswinds and water in poor-drainage areas.

**New Mexico:** Near Ocate and Rayado, a severe storm moving southeast at **10 mph** may produce **golf-ball-size hail and 60 mph winds** through **5 PM MDT**. Avoid travel if possible; hail, wind damage and sudden water over low crossings can make roads dangerous.

**Arizona:** A severe thunderstorm near Poker Mountain and West Poker Mountain is capable of **quarter-size hail** through **3:30 PM MST**. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until **10 PM MST** for Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima and Santa Cruz counties, including Tucson, Nogales, Sierra Vista, Safford and Douglas.

Slow down, increase following distance, avoid flooded or debris-covered roads, and pull into a safe covered location if hail or damaging winds begin. Submit reports at **888-IS-4TIPS (888-474-8477)**, HammerDownHeadlines.com, or HammerDownNews.com. Check local conditions before traveling.
