🚗 **Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

**Indiana:** Severe thunderstorms along **I-69 from mile markers 234–259** near Alexandria, Yorktown, Chesterfield, Daleville and Fairmount may produce **60 mph wind gusts, ping-pong-ball-size hail, torrential rain, and rapid visibility drops** through 1 AM EDT. Slow down, avoid stopping under trees, and watch for debris or ponding on the road.

Flooding continues across east-central and southeastern Indiana, including **I-70 at Exit 145** near Richmond and surrounding Fayette, Wayne, Franklin and Union counties. Numerous roads and low-water crossings remain closed or impassable through 11 AM EDT Friday. **Never drive around barricades or through floodwater.**

**Virginia:** Flash flooding is already occurring in central Wise County, including **Pound, Wise and Pardee**, with water reported across both lanes of **23 North in Pound**. Up to 2 inches of rain has fallen; warning remains in effect until 2:45 AM EDT. Avoid low spots, underpasses and flooded roads.

**Texas:** Heavy, slow-moving thunderstorms are causing flooding in Dawson and Gaines counties, including **Lamesa, Seminole, Seagraves and Welch**, through 12:30 AM CDT. Rainfall of **2.5–3 inches** has fallen, with up to another inch possible. Watch for water-covered roads, especially at night.

**Nevada:** Near **US-50 and U.S. 6 near Ely**, runoff from the Ward Fire burn scar may put water, mud, or debris on roads through 11:45 PM PDT. Avoid burn-scar drainages and do not drive through water-covered pavement.

**Colorado:** A Flood Watch remains in effect for **Logan County and northeast Weld County** until midnight MDT. Thunderstorms could drop **1–2 inches of rain in 30 minutes**, with totals up to 4 inches possible. Be alert for fast-rising water on low-lying roads.

**Idaho:** Flash flooding and debris flows are possible near the **Big Rock burn scar around Heise** Friday afternoon and evening, and near the **Wapiti burn scar in the Sawtooth/Stanley Basin** from Friday afternoon through Saturday evening. Avoid routes near burn scars during heavy rain.
