**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

🌪️ **Hawaii:** Hurricane Warnings cover the Big Island, with Tropical Storm Warnings for Maui County, Molokai and Lanai. Dangerous winds of 55–70 mph with gusts up to 90 mph are possible on parts of the Big Island, along with 10–15 inches of rain in windward areas and potential road, bridge and access-route closures. Maui and the smaller islands could see tropical-storm-force gusts up to 70 mph, heavy rain, debris-covered roads and localized coastal flooding. Tropical Storm Watches extend to Oahu, Kauai and Niihau, including Honolulu. Avoid travel during hazardous conditions; never drive through flooded roads or around closures.

🌊 **Indiana:** Major flooding is ongoing or forecast along the White River, including Anderson, Noblesville, the Nora/Ravenswood area, Muncie, Centerton, Spencer and Elliston. Numerous local roads may be underwater; near Anderson, I-69 and several state routes may be among the few remaining crossings. SR 225 is closed by high water near Lafayette, and flooding is also affecting areas near SR 1/SR 28 at Ridgeville and routes near Bloomfield, Worthington and the White River. Wabash River flooding is affecting Lafayette, Covington, Montezuma, Terre Haute and nearby rural areas through next week in some locations. Do not bypass barricades.

🌧️ **Illinois:** Flash flooding is ongoing near I-57 between mile markers 194 and 217 in east-central Illinois, including the Paris, Tuscola, Arcola, Villa Grove and Arthur areas, through 1 PM CDT. Two to five inches of rain has fallen, with flooded streets, highways and underpasses possible. Flooding along the Wabash River may also affect areas near I-70 and US-40 around Terre Haute.

⛈️ **Ohio Valley/Appalachians:** Flooding and road closures are reported around Chesterhill, Jacksonville, Trimble, Amesville and Bartlett in southeast Ohio after 1.75–2 inches of rain. Additional thunderstorms could trigger flash flooding through this evening across southeast Ohio, northeast Kentucky, southwest Virginia and much of West Virginia. Low-water crossings are especially dangerous.

🌧️ **Iowa/Nebraska:** Flash flooding is possible through 9 PM CDT across western Iowa and eastern Nebraska, including the Council Bluffs-area region. Rainfall rates of 2–3 inches per hour may cause extensive street and creek flooding.

⛈️ **Utah:** A severe thunderstorm near Santa Clara, Ivins and Snow Canyon State Park is moving north at 20 mph. Expect wind gusts up to 60 mph and quarter-size hail, including near Utah Route 18 between mile markers 9 and 10. Avoid stopping beneath trees or driving into storm debris.

🌊 **Montana / Idaho / Oregon:** Flash flooding and debris-flow risks remain elevated near burn scars—especially the Daly Fire burn scar in northeast Ravalli County, Montana; the Wapiti Burn Area in Idaho’s Boise Mountains; and the Fox, Powder River and Tartar burn scars near southeastern Baker County, Oregon, and western Washington County, Idaho. Roads and driveways near burn scars can wash out quickly.
