⚠️ **Road-Weather Update: South Dakota & Nebraska**

**Central South Dakota:** Severe thunderstorms are moving southeast at 40 mph through parts of Aurora, Brule and Jerauld counties, including near Kimball and White Lake. Wind gusts up to **60 mph** may bring down trees and cause debris on roads through **1:30 AM CDT**.

**Central/Eastern Nebraska:** Severe thunderstorms are producing **60 mph winds and quarter-size hail**. Along **I-80 between mile markers 303 and 340**, including the Grand Island area, expect sudden crosswinds, hail, and possible tree debris through **1:15 AM CDT**. Storms are moving southeast at up to **60 mph**. Additional severe weather is affecting the Columbus, Lakeview and Richland areas.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect across parts of central and south-central Nebraska—including Grand Island, Hastings, York, Central City and St. Paul—until **2 AM CDT**.

Drivers should slow down, avoid stopping beneath trees, and pull off the road safely if hail or winds make travel hazardous. Never drive around downed power lines or debris. Check local conditions before traveling.
