**Nationwide Road Weather Update**
– **Utah:** Flash flooding is occurring in Capitol Reef National Park’s Grand Wash, Wonderland Canyon, Timpie Canyon and Capitol Gorge near Caineville through **4:15 PM MDT**. Do not drive into flooded washes or low crossings. A severe storm near Etna may bring **60 mph winds and quarter-size hail** to **UT-30, mile markers 25–27**, through **3:30 PM MDT**.
– **Arizona:** Life-threatening flash flooding is ongoing or imminent around **Antelope Canyon and the Antelope Creek basin** through **4:30 PM MST**. Stay out of slot canyons and never cross flooded roads. Near Prescott Valley, heavy rain has caused hazardous ponding and slick or muddy roads, including **SR-69 (mile markers 279–292)** and **SR-89A (322–325)**, through **4:30 PM MST**.
– **Colorado:** Heavy rain over the **Lee and P-L Gulch burn scars in central Rio Blanco County** could produce **1.5–3 inches of rain per hour**, flash flooding, mudslides and debris flows through **5:30 PM MDT**. Roads and driveways may wash out—avoid burn-scar routes.
– **Montana:** Severe storms moving northeast at **30–45 mph** may bring **60 mph wind gusts** and large hail near **Bozeman, Belgrade, Winifred, Inverness and Joplin** through **3:45 PM MDT**. Slow down, seek sturdy shelter if hail begins, and avoid downed trees or power lines.
– **Nebraska and South Dakota:** Severe storms are affecting the Chadron State Park area of northwest Nebraska, with **60 mph winds and half-dollar-size hail** through **3:15 PM MDT**. Severe thunderstorm watches remain in effect until **8 PM MDT** for western/north-central Nebraska and much of western South Dakota, including the Rapid City region. Be prepared for sudden damaging winds, hail and reduced visibility.
– **Louisiana:** A severe storm near **Greensburg and Montpelier** is producing possible **60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail** through **4:15 PM CDT**. Avoid parking or driving under trees and pull over safely if visibility drops.
– **South Carolina:** Heavy rain around **DeBordieu Colony in eastern Georgetown County** has dropped **2–3 inches**, with another **1–2 inches** possible through **6:30 PM EDT**. Watch for water-covered roads and flooding in low-lying areas.
