**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

– **New Mexico:** Life-threatening flash flooding is ongoing or expected near the Hermits Peak/Calf Canyon Burn Scar in northwestern San Miguel County, including El Porvenir, Montezuma and Gallinas, through **5 PM MDT**. Up to 1 inch has fallen, with more rain possible; roads and driveways may wash out. Smaller-stream and arroyo flooding is also possible near Fenton Lake State Park and Tres Piedras through **4:30 PM MDT**.

– **New Jersey:** Flash flooding is affecting parts of Ocean County, including Barnegat, Beach Haven West, Waretown, Ocean Acres and Manahawkin, through **7 PM EDT**. One to two inches of rain has fallen; streets, underpasses and low-lying roads may be flooded.

– **North Carolina:** Severe storms with **60 mph wind gusts** and penny-size hail are moving through portions of the Piedmont and central NC. Use extra caution near Shelby, Cherryville, Mocksville and Harmony. Along **I-95 between mile markers 41 and 58**, near Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Raeford and Aberdeen, storms are moving south at 10 mph through **4:45 PM EDT**. Falling trees, power lines and sudden heavy rain can quickly block roads.

– **Texas:** Severe thunderstorms with **60 mph wind gusts** are affecting central Brazoria County—including Angleton, Lake Jackson and Clute—and southeastern Chambers County near Smith Point, Bolivar Peninsula and Oak Island. Storms are moving west at 15 mph through **3:30 PM CDT**. Watch for debris, downed limbs and difficult crosswinds.

– **Maine:** A severe storm near White Cap Mountain is moving northeast at 35 mph toward Millinocket and along **State Highway 11 between Norcross and Millinocket** through **4:30 PM EDT**. Expect possible 60 mph gusts, penny-size hail and tree or power-line damage.

– **Georgia:** Heavy rain has dropped 2–4 inches around Brunswick, St. Simons Island and Sea Island, with up to another inch possible through **4:45 PM EDT**. Low-lying and poor-drainage roads may flood.

– **Guam:** Heavy rain may cause urban and small-stream flooding across northeastern Guam—including Tumon, Dededo, Tamuning, Yigo and Mangilao—through **7 AM ChST**. An additional 1–2 inches of rain is possible.
