🚗 **Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

– **New Mexico:** Life-threatening flash flooding is affecting southeastern and east-central areas, including Roswell, Clovis, Texico, Pleasant Hill, Saint Vrain and Floyd. Rainfall of **1–5 inches** has occurred, with more possible. Flooding is impacting highways, streets, underpasses and low-lying areas, including **Highways 60, 285 and 380**. Warnings generally expire around **9:45–10:30 PM MDT**.
– **West Texas:** A severe thunderstorm near Study Butte and Terlingua is producing **60 mph wind gusts, quarter-size hail and torrential rain** through about **9:15 PM CDT**. Hail may damage vehicles, and flash flooding is possible.
– **Indiana/Ohio:** Minor river flooding continues near Linn Grove and Decatur, with impacts near **Ohio Highway 49 north of Willshire**. Flooding is expected to continue into Saturday; do not drive around barricades or through flooded roads. Additional flooding in Gallia and Vinton Counties, Ohio, has left numerous roads closed and low-water crossings impassable through Friday morning.
– **Iowa/Illinois:** River flooding continues along the Mississippi near Burlington and Gladstone, the Iowa River near Oakville and Wapello, and the Wapsipinicon near De Witt. Several county roads are underwater or closed, and flooding is affecting areas near the **U.S. Highway 61 bridge**. Major flooding near De Witt may continue into Wednesday night. In Lake County, Illinois, flooding along the Des Plaines River is affecting areas near **US-41**, with some roads and nearby properties threatened through the weekend.
– **West Virginia:** Flooded roadways remain possible across Calhoun County, including Grantsville, Arnoldsburg and Mount Zion, through about **4:15 AM EDT Friday**. Rivers and streams continue to rise.
– **Hawaii:** A Flood Watch remains in effect through **Saturday afternoon** for the Big Island, Maui, Lanai, Molokai and Kahoolawe as Tropical Storm Nolo brings the potential for heavy rain, flash flooding, road closures and landslides—especially on windward and southeastern Big Island and windward Maui.
