đźš— **Road-Weather Update: Southwest**
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected across parts of **southern New Mexico and Arizona**:
– **New Mexico:** Central Doña Ana County, Deming and portions of Grant, Luna and Sierra counties are under Flash Flood Warnings through **noon to 12:30 p.m. MDT**. Thunderstorms have produced roughly **0.75–1.5 inches of rain**, with up to **1 inch more possible**. Flooding is affecting or threatening highways, streets, underpasses, arroyos and low-water crossings.
– **Arizona:** Flash Flood Warnings continue through **2:30 p.m. MST** for areas including Marana, Sells, Eloy, Kearny, Sierra Vista and Fort Huachuca. Impacts include **I-10 from mile markers 205–242**, Routes 79, 86, 87, 77 and 177, plus Routes 90, 80 and 92 in Cochise County. Up to **1.5 inches has fallen**, with another **1–2 inches possible**.
– **Yavapai County:** Life-threatening flooding is occurring near **Rock Springs and I-17 mile marker 242** through **noon MST**. The Agua Fria River rose rapidly, and washes, creeks, underpasses and roads may flood.
Flood Watches remain in effect through tonight across **northern and central New Mexico** and southern Utah, including **Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon Country, Capitol Reef and Lake Powell**. Additional rainfall of **0.50–1 inch, locally up to 2 inches**, could flood streams, dry washes, burn scars and low-lying roads.
