**TORNADO WARNING β TEXAS PANHANDLE:** A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was near Umbarger, west of Canyon, moving northeast at 30 mph. **Canyon, Umbarger, and Buffalo Lake** may be affected through **9:15 PM CDT**. **Seek shelter immediately** in a sturdy building, away from windows. Do not drive through flooded roads.
– **Texas Panhandle:** Flash flooding is ongoing or likely around **Amarillo, Canyon, Wildorado, and surrounding Potter, Randall, Deaf Smith, and Oldham counties**, with another **1β3 inches of rain possible** through around midnight. Flooding is also occurring in Brewster and Presidio counties, including **Big Bend National Park, Panther Junction, Presidio, and Big Bend Ranch State Park**, where warnings continue until approximately **11:30 PMβ11:45 PM CDT**. Expect flooded streets, underpasses, highways, and low-water crossings.
– **New Mexico and west Texas:** Severe thunderstorms near **Hobbs, Eunice, Monument, and nearby areas** may produce **60-mph wind gusts** while moving northeast at 55 mph; warning through **10 PM CDT/9 PM MDT**. Flash flooding and dangerous runoff continue near **Lakewood, Brantley Lake, Otero County, Las Cruces, Truth or Consequences, and surrounding arroyos**.
