**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
Flooding is the primary travel hazard across parts of the Southwest, Plains and Midwest:
– **New Mexico:** Flooding continues in southeastern Lincoln and central Chaves counties. **NM Highway 246 is impassable between mile markers 9 and 73**, and NM Highway 368 plus low-water crossings may be closed or dangerous. A warning remains in effect until **3:45 p.m. MDT**. Flooding is also affecting Santa Fe County, including Santa Fe, Eldorado, La Cienega and Los Cerrillos, through **1:15 p.m. MDT**; up to another 0.5 inches of rain is possible.
– **Arizona:** The Little Colorado River is flooding near **St. Johns, Woodruff and Hunt** in Apache and Navajo counties. Low-water crossings may be deadly and should not be attempted. The warning is listed through **10:45 a.m. MST**.
– **Texas Panhandle:** Flooding continues along Palo Duro Creek in Randall County, including Canyon, through **1:15 p.m. CDT**. Minor flooding and dangerous flows over low-water crossings also affect parts of Armstrong, Randall, Oldham and Potter counties, including Wayside, Palo Duro Canyon, Vega, Boys Ranch and Valley De Oro. The Oldham/Potter advisory continues until **4 p.m. CDT**.
– **Iowa:** River flooding is forecast or occurring along the North Skunk River near Sigourney, the Skunk River at Augusta, and the Wapsipinicon River near De Witt. Flooding could affect gravel access roads, residences and other low-lying areas, with crests expected Friday into Saturday.
– **Missouri/Kansas:** The Missouri River at St. Joseph is forecast to rise above flood stage late Thursday, cresting near 20.7 feet Friday evening. Lowland flooding and backwater impacts are possible in parts of Andrew, Buchanan and Doniphan counties.
