🚗 **Nationwide road-weather update: Flooding is the primary travel hazard.**

– **Nebraska/Iowa:** Life-threatening flash flooding is ongoing around **Omaha, Council Bluffs, Bellevue, Papillion, Lincoln, Milford, Crete and surrounding areas**. **I-80, I-29 and Highway 77** have flooded sections, with **2–5 inches of rain already reported** and more possible. Several warnings run through approximately **1:30–2 a.m. CDT**.
– **Oklahoma:** Flash flooding is affecting **Weatherford, Clinton, Hobart, Cordell and nearby areas**, with **1–2 inches of rain received and another 1–3 inches possible** through about **1:30 a.m. CDT**. Additional minor flooding is possible around **Ardmore, Davis, Healdton and Wynnewood**.
– **Texas:** Flooding and low-water crossings are a concern near **Sweetwater, Roscoe and Nolan County**, including **I-20, US-84 and US-180**, through about **12:30 a.m. CDT**. Flooding also affects **Juno and nearby Val Verde County**. The Canadian River near Amarillo continues to flood; dirt roads leading to Highway 287 from Rosita Creek Flats are impassable.
– **Iowa:** River flooding is forecast or ongoing across the **Des Moines metro, Warren, Dallas, Jasper and Marion counties**. Impacts include secondary road closures, water near **US-65/69**, flooding on **Iowa 92**, and flooding near **Hwy R57**. Some warnings continue through the weekend and into early next week.
– **Missouri and eastern Kansas:** Widespread river flooding is forecast along the **Missouri, Platte, Grand, Nodaway, Tarkio and 102 rivers**. Road impacts may include **State Route 48 near Rosendale, US-59 near Fairfax, Highway 192 near Easton, Highway 66 near Ithaca, Highway KK and Highway B near Platte City**, plus low-lying and rural roads. Several warnings continue into the weekend or next week.
– **Arizona:** Flooding continues along the **Little Colorado River near Winslow, Leupp and Bird Springs**, including dangerous low-water crossings and approaches near **Route 71**, through about **7 a.m. MST**. The Gila River near Calva may exceed bankfull levels Thursday.
– **Saipan and Tinian:** Heavy rain may produce urban and small-stream flooding, with water over roadways and **0.8–1.6 inches of additional rain possible** through **5 p.m. ChST**.

**Driving safety:** Never drive through floodwater or around barricades—turn around, don’t drown. Slow down, allow extra following distance, and avoid low-water crossings, underpasses and flooded rural roads, especially at night.
