**Nationwide road-weather update:**

– **Central Texas:** Flash flooding is ongoing across parts of Bosque, Hill, Coryell and Lampasas counties, including **Clifton, Meridian, Gatesville and Lampasas**. More than **3 inches of rain** has fallen, with another **1–2 inches possible**. Flooding may affect roads, underpasses, small streams and low-lying areas through **9 a.m. CDT**. Never drive through floodwater—**turn around, don’t drown**.

– **Western Arkansas and southeastern Oklahoma:** Minor flooding is occurring or expected near **Fort Smith, Greenwood, Poteau, Heavener and Wister**. Up to **2 inches of rain** has fallen, with up to **1 more inch possible** through **9:45 a.m. CDT**. Watch for ponding and flooded low spots.

– **Northern Mariana Islands:** Tropical Storm Choi-wan is bringing heavy rain and tropical-storm-force winds to **Tinian and Saipan**, with winds of **39–50 mph** and rainfall totals of **8–14 inches possible by early Monday**. A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect; stay sheltered during heavy rain and strong winds. Typhoon conditions are expected for **Pagan and Agrihan**.
