**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
⚠️ **Arizona:** Severe thunderstorms and flash flooding are creating dangerous travel conditions across southeastern Arizona.
– **Cochise County:** Flash flooding near Douglas, Bisbee and Naco through midnight MST, affecting Routes 80, 191 and 92. Douglas/Pirtleville also face 60 mph wind gusts and small hail through 9:30 PM MST.
– **I-10 and nearby routes:** Severe storms with 60 mph winds and quarter-size hail affect I-10 from mile markers 275–322 near Benson, Vail and Corona de Tucson through 9:45 PM MST; I-10 from mile markers 325–339 near Willcox through 9:30 PM MST. Routes 80, 83, 90, 181, 186 and 191 are also affected.
– **Graham County:** Flash flooding is underway near Safford and Thatcher, with 1–2 inches of rain reported. Watch Route 191 and Route 70 through 10 PM MST.
⚠️ **Guam:** Flash flooding is underway across the southern half of Guam, including Tamuning, Mangilao and Chalan Pago-Ordot, after 2–4 inches of rain. Flooded streets, underpasses and low-lying roads are possible through 2:15 PM ChST.
⚠️ **New Jersey / New York:** Heavy thunderstorms may cause flash flooding overnight. I-287, I-78 and I-80 in northern New Jersey are at risk for flooded lanes, underpasses and poor-drainage areas through 3:45 AM EDT, with another 1–2 inches of rain possible. Minor flooding is also expected in parts of Bergen, Essex and Passaic Counties, NJ, and western Rockland County, NY, through 2:45 AM EDT.
⚠️ **Kansas:** A severe storm near Emporia is moving east at 20 mph, bringing 60 mph wind gusts and golf-ball-size hail. Use caution on I-35 from mile markers 128–143 and the Kansas Turnpike from mile markers 130–135 through 11:30 PM CDT.
⚠️ **South Carolina:** Heavy rain has caused 1–2 inches of rainfall near Newberry, Batesburg-Leesville and Prosperity, with another 1–2 inches expected. Minor urban and small-stream flooding, including along I-26 from mile markers 74–87, is possible through 1:45 AM EDT.
