– **Southern California:** Life-threatening flash flooding is affecting San Bernardino County. **I-15** is threatened from the Barstow/Fort Irwin Road area and near Cima, Kelso, and Mountain Pass; **I-40** also has flooding concerns near Daggett and severe-storm hazards farther east. Expect standing water, inundated low-water crossings, and possible **60 mph winds with quarter-size hail** through this evening.

– **Dakotas & Nebraska:** Severe thunderstorms are producing dangerous hail and damaging winds. On **I-90 near Wall, SD (mile markers 94–112)**, storms may bring **70 mph gusts and golf-ball-size hail**. Northern Sioux County, ND, including Fort Yates, Selfridge, and Standing Rock, faces up to **baseball-size hail and 60 mph winds**. In northwestern Nebraska, **Highway 61 near mile markers 182–186** could see **2-inch hail and 60 mph winds**. Slow down, avoid stopping under trees or overpasses, and seek sturdy shelter if caught in a severe storm.

– **Kentucky & Tennessee:** Heavy thunderstorms are causing flash flooding in south-central Kentucky, including Liberty, Science Hill, Eubank, Nancy, and Faubush. Rainfall of **1–3 inches**, with additional heavy rain possible, is flooding roads, underpasses, and low-lying areas. In Knoxville, Farragut, and Bearden, another **1–2 inches** may cause poor-drainage flooding through late evening. A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect across much of east Tennessee, including Knoxville, through **2 AM EDT Wednesday**.

– **Ohio & Illinois:** River flooding may affect roads near Athens, Beverly, and Thornton. In Ohio, flooding is forecast near **US 50 in Athens**, while portions of Route 60 and secondary roads near the Muskingum River at Beverly may flood overnight. In Cook County, Illinois, Thorn Creek flooding could threaten **187th Street in Glenwood** through Thursday.

– **Carolinas, Virginia & West Virginia:** A Flood Watch remains in effect through Thursday morning for northwest North Carolina, much of western Virginia, and southeast West Virginia, where repeated thunderstorms could flood creeks, low-lying roads, and poor-drainage areas.
