**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

– **Tennessee:** Life-threatening flash flooding is affecting the Knoxville area, including **I-75 near mile markers 108–109** and **I-40 from mile markers 384–403**, through **1:30 AM EDT**. Rainfall of 1–3 inches has fallen, with another 1–2 inches possible. Flooding also affects parts of Blount and Knox counties, including Maryville, Alcoa, Halls and Powell. Never drive through flooded streets, underpasses or low-water crossings.

– **Arizona:** Flash flooding remains a threat on **Highway 191 near Wide Ruins, mile markers 387–397**, through **9:30 PM MDT**. In Cochise County, flooding affects **Route 181, mile markers 39–47, and Route 191, mile markers 23–41**, near Elfrida and Sunizona through **10 PM MST**. Washes, dirt roads, paved roads and underpasses may be impassable. A severe storm near Tombstone also brings 60 mph winds and quarter-size hail near **Route 80, mile markers 315–325**, until **8:30 PM MST**.

– **Kentucky:** Flash flooding is ongoing or may worsen in Bell and Harlan counties, including Pineville, after 2–3 inches of rain. The warning expires **11:30 PM EDT**. Minor flooding and road ponding are also possible in Knox County through **11:15 PM EDT**.

– **South Dakota:** A destructive severe thunderstorm is moving southeast near Philip, Wall, Wasta, Quinn and Interior. **I-90 from mile markers 94–146** is affected, with wind gusts up to **80 mph** and golf-ball-size hail through **9:45 PM MDT**. Another storm near Wasta, Owanka and Wicksville may produce 60 mph gusts and quarter-size hail near I-90 through **9:30 PM MDT**. Avoid stopping under overpasses; if travel is unavoidable, slow down and seek sturdy shelter away from trees and power lines.

– **North Dakota:** A severe storm near Almont and New Salem is moving east at 30 mph with **60 mph wind gusts** and golf-ball-size hail through **10:30 PM CDT**. A broader severe thunderstorm watch covers much of central, south-central and southeastern North Dakota—including Bismarck, Mandan, Jamestown and Oakes—until **1 AM CDT**.

– **Nebraska:** A severe thunderstorm near **Highway 61, mile markers 168–183, in southwestern Cherry County** may produce 60 mph gusts and half-dollar-size hail through **10:30 PM CDT**. Pull off the road only where safe and away from trees; protect vehicles from hail if possible.

– **Indiana:** A Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday evening across central and parts of eastern, western and southern Indiana, including Indianapolis, Marion, Hamilton, Tippecanoe and surrounding areas. Multiple rounds of storms could bring isolated **1.5–3 inch** rainfall totals and flooding on low-lying roads.
